Jeremiah 17:7–8 (ESV)

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose trust is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

As we walk this road we call life, we encounter numerous challenges and blessings.

Although the challenges we face are blessings, too. There is a song my sister Brenda loved to hear, the title is “Blessings.”

God hasn’t forgotten you. Remember, in the waiting, God is still making “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
