Just A Little Bit Longer

“I am coming soon. So hold firmly to what you have, and no one will take away the crown you will be given as your reward” Revelation 3:11 (CEV).

The Lord encourages us to hold on. Hold to what we’ve been taught is right. The Holy Scriptures instruct, teach, and correct us as we live each day. The enemy (Satan) wants to confuse us by telling half-truths about God. (Remember the conversation Eve had in the Garden of Eden with the snake. He also sends his demons to frustrate us with doubt, fear, and unbelief. Satan tries to get our focus off Jesus and to stay on the problem.

“And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

And He (Jesus) was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake Him, and say unto Him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, ‘Peace, be still.’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

And He said unto them, ‘Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?’

And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, ‘What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?’” Mark 4:37-41 (KJV)

Friend, Jesus has your back. He will never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). When the storms of life threaten to overwhelm you and destroy your life, look back into the memories of your past and recall how God delivered you.
