A New Beginning

“Forget what happened long ago!
    Don’t think about the past.
 I am creating something new.
There it is! Do you see it?
I have put roads in deserts,
streams in thirsty lands” Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV).

I believe it’s safe to say that after the major ice and snow blizzard we had last winter, most of us are ready for warmer weather. Kevin and I lead busy lives. His schedule is so much busier than mine, yet I do attempt to accommodate him if there’s something he needs done. We were anticipating our upcoming 10th anniversary cruise, during this normal, busy season of our lives, plus we had to move into our temporary food pantry until another one is ready. We only had a few days before leaving on our cruise. Thank God, everything worked out. Our incredible volunteers assisted Kevin in the final stages of moving food, shelves, etc., into the new, temporary building, and Kevin and I were on our way to a well-needed break. Our food pantry will open on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, between 12 and 3pm. No numbers needed, but please bring your own bags. The new address is 5870 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.

God is always right on time. Not only did we reconnect, but since it was during Easter break, kids of all ages loved seeing Santa on vacation. Santa Kevin also met the Easter bunny.

Maybe you need a break too. God knows what you’ve been going through. He knows how much you give to Him by loving and serving your family, your church, and your community. He will give you the peace you desperately need. Just ask Him.
