A New Day

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”.  Psalm 118:24 (ESV)

Did you wake up this morning? Thank God. Not everyone does. At the Essex House of God Church, during times of testimony, one of the blessings for which individuals are thankful is that God woke them up.

One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 139:16, “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”

No matter what lies ahead of us on a given day, we know that God already knew about it. He knows what challenges and hardships will come our way. He knows that together, we will be victorious. As a loving Father, He allows tests and tribulations because He knows it will help us grow into the sons and daughters He knows we can become. God also sees the blessings of each day. As His children, we need to remember to thank Him for the good things in life. (James 1:17)
