God is Faithful

These last few days, we’ve experienced various weather conditions: We’ve had snow and freezing rain. The sun came out and we started hoping that Spring would soon be near. This past weekend we had rain for two (2) days. The wind had increased significantly, making the day feel even colder. In the midst of all this, on Sunday at about 4:30 pm, my husband pointed out a beautiful rainbow in White Marsh. My daughter loves rainbows, so I encouraged her to get out of our car and look into the sky. I pointed out the colors and reminded her that the rainbow is God’s promise never to flood the world with water again.

We just finished celebrating Valentine’s Day. If you are married or have a special someone in your life, be thankful. Many singles, widows, and widowers face the day with mixed emotions. I pray God will greatly comfort them. Love was His idea in the first place. God IS Love. It is who He is; it is His character. Everything about God spells out L-O-V-E.
