Steadfast Devotion.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12 English Standard Version (ESV)

What is the definition of steadfast? In Google it says, “If someone is steadfast in something that they are doing, they are convinced that what they are doing is right and they refuse to change it or to give up. He remained steadfast in his belief that he had done the right thing. Synonyms: resolute, firm, fast, fixed.”
This being the month we celebrate Valentine’s Day, we can find many gift ideas for the upcoming romantic holiday.
Romantic love is good, but we want to understand “steadfast devotion.”
“For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16, 17 King James Version (KJV)

This sacrificial, unwavering, relentless, and yes, steadfast love was given to us by our Heavenly Father. God sent His Son Jesus into our world to live among us and to teach us how to love God with all our heart, mind and strength, and to love our neighbor as our self. Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13: 34, 35 New King James Version (NKJV).
