Love is an action word. Yes, we can feel it, but when it moves beyond the emotional into the physical realm, every one in its path will benefit.

A Place to Live

After our food giveaway this past Tuesday, Kevin informed our volunteers that Love Thy Neighbor food pantry had fed over 4,000 individuals. This includes over 500 people who came to our pantry, those who live in the woods, and many local area schools.

It was brought to our attention that there was a family with a small child who had lost everything in a house fire. Kevin shared with me how so many friends immediately upon hearing the news, poured out their love by bringing in clothing, toys and household items.

During the food giveaway, our clients not only gathered food for their own families, they picked up items for this family and handed them to the young mother upon exiting the building.

That IS love in action.
