“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” John 11:25 KJV

We had our weekly food giveaway on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. We were once again thankful for all the volunteers and clients who showed up, and for all the food donations to help feed our community.

In the early evening, Pastor Kevin shared with me, a conversation he had with one of our clients. It seemed a mother had just learned that her hospitalized child had passed away. Burdened with grief, she called Kevin and asked him to pray for her. Soon after, Kevin received a second call from this lady. She had been crying with tears of grief and sorrow, but now was filled with amazement and joy.

“My son is alive!” Her voice cracked a bit with shrills of delight. “I just got another call from the hospital. My child had been pronounced dead, but his vitals are strong. In fact, the hospital staff said he sat up and wants to talk to me.”

Look at God!

You can imagine her swerving her vehicle to avoid getting into an accident. She hurried to the side of the road where she could release her tears. The next voice she heard was her son, “Hi Mom.”

God is STILL working miracles.
