At the close of today, people everywhere are thinking about the upcoming, long holiday weekend. On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, we will celebrate our civil and religious freedoms by remembering families, loved ones, and those who have served or are serving our country in the Armed Forces.
We can also minister to each other right here at home. Whether it be volunteering at a local food pantry; (we love our volunteers at Love Thy Neighbor food pantry); smiling at someone you pass on the street; or giving a generous tip to a server at a restaurant or a diner, just to name a few ways to encourage and bless those we meet each day.
On Monday, July 3, 2023, Love Thy Neighbor food pantry will be handing out food instead of Tuesday this week, so that our volunteers can enjoy their family and friends in celebrating this memorable holiday. The time for receiving the food is at the same time, from 12 noon to 3pm.
Have a safe and blessed 4th of July!
