This morning after a general business meeting and a yearly inauguration, I met up with a friend, Mary at our Essex Senior Center.

After we chatted a bit, Mary shared with Kevin and myself of a blessing she received from the Lord.

“I had been out running errands and noticed my gas light in the car came on. It was extremely low on fuel. I checked my purse and saw I had some loose change and a $5.00 bill. A man with a small dog approached me and asked if I could spare some change. I gave him the $5.00 bill.”

She added, “He was so happy! He spoke kindly to his dog and said, ‘We can have some burgers tonight!’”

Mary continued to share with us and explained that she figured she would just use what change she had and use that for gas.

“Remember how low my gas tank was,” Mary said with a big smile. “After putting the gas in my tank, I looked and noticed my tank was half full!”
